JSC “Bereznik” became the winner of the “Silver Mercury” award in the category “Best Small Enterprise in the Forestry Industry Complex.”
The “Silver Mercury” competition is the regional stage of the Russian National Award “Golden Mercury,” traditionally held with the support of the Vologda Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In 2021, JSC “Bereznik” once again participated in the competition and won in the category “Best Small Enterprise in the Forestry Industry Complex.” This is already the company’s third “Silver Mercury” award.
The 12th award ceremony took place on May 27 at the YES Center.
In 2021, the competition brought together more than 80 participants from 11 municipalities of the Vologda Region for the first time.
It should also be noted that JSC “Bereznik” has been implementing its wood processing investment project since 2019. In 2021, the birch plywood plant built in the Sokol Industrial Park began operations. Total investment in the production facility is estimated at RUB 3.2 billion.
