The company carries out a full production cycle: from leasing forest plots and timber harvesting to deep processing and selling finished products in Russian and international markets. The leased forest area is 191,581 hectares, with an estimated logging volume of 422,000 m³ per year. Its own raw material base fully meets production needs.

Company History
Foundation and early development stages
JSC Bereznik was founded in 2018 in the Vologda region — one of Russia's key forest regions. From the outset, the company focused on building its own raw material base, organising logging operations and establishing production infrastructure.
The initial priorities were:
- developing forest plots and establishing a stable logging system;
- building a professional team;
- preparing to implement an investment project for deep timber processing.
Investment project and processing development
In 2019–2021, JSC Bereznik began implementing a major investment project to build a woodworking complex in the Sokol industrial park (Vologda region). The project aimed to create modern plywood and related product manufacturing.
Within the project framework:
- state-of-the-art equipment from leading global manufacturers was procured and installed;
- modern veneer peeling, drying and pressing lines were introduced;
- production and logistics chains were established.
Production launch and capacity expansion
In 2021, the first phase of the plywood factory was commissioned with a design capacity of approximately 44,000 m³ per year. The plant launch was a key milestone for the company and the region, creating new jobs and increasing timber processing volumes within the oblast.
JSC Bereznik's products target both the domestic market and export. Special emphasis is placed on quality, parameter consistency and compliance with international standards.
Priority project status and further development
In 2022–2025, the investment project of JSC Bereznik received the status of a priority investment project in the Russian Federation's timber industry. This enabled the company to accelerate its production expansion and equipment modernisation plans.
Further development envisages:
- increasing plywood production capacity to ≈84,000 m³ per year;
- developing by-product processing;
- launching biofuel production, including fuel briquettes;
- improving automation and energy efficiency.
Present day
Today, JSC Bereznik is a dynamically developing enterprise combining the traditions of the forestry industry with modern technologies. The company focuses on responsible forest management, sustainable development and long-term partnerships with clients and regions of operation.
