On September 1, 2021, JSC “Bereznik” was visited by Valentina Artamonova, Deputy Governor of the Vologda Region, as part of a working visit.
Valentina Artamonova inspected the main production building with an area of 12,000 square meters, as well as the installed and assembled equipment. Alexey Abramov, General Director of JSC “Bereznik,” informed the Deputy Governor about the company’s short-term development plans and long-term prospects.
After touring the production facilities, Alexey Abramov and Valentina Artamonova discussed personnel policy issues. The General Director noted that in 2021 the company signed a cooperation agreement with the Sokol Forestry Polytechnic College for training specialists for the forestry industry. In particular, JSC “Bereznik” participates in upgrading the educational institution’s material and technical base, while students are able to develop professional skills through internships organized by the company.
Another issue discussed in detail by Alexey Abramov was the future tax contributions of JSC “Bereznik” to district and regional budgets after the enterprise reaches full production capacity.
Valentina Artamonova also met with the employees of JSC “Bereznik” and highly appreciated the company management’s work in both production and social development areas.
